The Pioneer Muslim Credit Union (PMCU) was founded in 1981 by the Momin community of Sidhpur, Gujarat, India and is a member-owned financial institution headquartered in Houston, Texas. The Credit Union is converted from a State to a Federal Chartered on August 19, 2009 and is now a Pioneer Muslim Federal Credit Union (PMFCU). Pioneer has provided financial services to its community for over 27 years. Over these years Pioneer has grown substantially, in terms of membership, assets, and equity. With over 5000 members, Pioneer has committed its resources to the simple philosophy of "members helping members".
Like all Credit Union our members are our shareholders and a not-for-profit financial institution which directly adds value back to each member and the community. As a financial institution for its members, Pioneer is committed to providing competitive products and services for the progress of the community
